The exhibition presented by the Swiss Architecture Museum in Basel 2008, the Architekturzentrum in Vienna 2009 and by the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Bucharest 2010 has been exhibited in Belgrade as part of the 6th Belgrade International Architecture Week / BINA 2011 at the House of Heritage and has now opened at the Art Pavilion in Podgorica. With examples from Belgrade, Bucharest, Kotor, Pula, Prishtina, Sofia, Tirana and Zagreb, the exhibition shows how architects, urbanists and activists engage with the rapid processes of urban transformation in a context of their cultural, social and political dimensions in the Balkan countries. Research projects, concrete interventions, architectural analyses and planning strategies are introduced - along with exceptional Yugoslavian modern socialist buildings in a dialogue with contemporary architecture (co-curators: Vladimir Kulic, Maroje Mrduljas).
