Institute conducts research on urban and territorial policies and organizes educational workshops and seminars with other professional associations and local initiatives

General Information

Research activities related to urban studies, social movements, identity theory and spatial semantics, while development comprises spatial planning policies, transport planning, strategic spatial planning, urban planning and urban regeneration; research and development of policies of space, which includes planning, consulting, expert networking and educational activities.

Intervening in public discourse and policy-making at the local and national level by organising conferences, presenting and publishing IPOP'S research work; collaborating with institutions, NGOs and other local actors to implement grass-roots, community-based projects by working in different networks with other local actors.
