Focus:
Issues of urban planning and the reality of the city of Novi Sad, which official institutions fail to address adequately. This includes focusing on plans, strategies, reconstruction, heritage protection, social and cultural issues, sustainable transportation, environmental issues and the entire public sphere.
Approach:
Active analysis of current situation by offering alternative plans, ideas. Archiving all interventions, with a special focus on endangered city heritage. Initiating new urban development strategies. Bringing together a range of professionals and activists for discussions that are open to the public. Taking part in media coverage of current urban issues. Building a web-based community of concerned citizens. Reaffirming the specific multilingual and cultural heritage of Novi Sad. Mapping ongoing processes within the urban fabric.
*Name clarification: Új means new in Hungarian, and therefore is included in the Hungarian name of the city of Novi Sad (Újvidék). 21 is the city code.
